原I've always liked this name, but in the Bible Rahab was a prostitute who sold out on her own people. Also, it looks a lot like "rehab" in English. But if you can get past that, Rahab is a nice name.
原While Rahab initially lived a life of sin, she is also a wonderful example of faith and repentance. Because of her courageous acts, God rewarded Rahab by making her one of Jesus' ancestors. It is an unusual name, but has a wonderful story behind it.
原In the Bible, Rahab is also used as a poetic name for Egypt. The author of the book of Hebrews praises the prostitute who helped the Israelite spies as an example of faith.
