It's understandable though, since it looks like so many other names, so no hard feelings. I've lived with it my whole life, so I've gotten used to that. Even though I'm not absolutely in love with it, I can't picture myself with any other name.
原It sounds like the parents or whomever made this name up couldn't decide between "Kathryn" and "Kathleen". Some people like to be called "Kat" if this is their full name. I know only one Kathlyn.
