原I had a daughter in June 2000, I chose to spell it differently, Karynzah. Beautiful name, beautiful meaning. I've always been asked if it's a real name, what does it mean etc.. Fits my daughter perfectly. Karynzah Gabrielle, my only daughter.
原Firstly I would like to say that my very dearest friend is named Kerensa, her nickname is Keri, & online she spells her name, "Kere".
I've wanted to change my name my entire life. My new name (somewhat long) is going to include Kerensah OR Kayrenzah for one of my middle names.
The other point I wanted to make was, it showed the pronunciation as, Pronounced kə-REN-zə. I should be well-versed & know what the upside-down "e" means, alas, I do not. My pronunciation is; (pn; kuh-REN-suh), the capital letters are the dominant Syllable.

原I was going to name my first born daughter Kerensa Colleen but sadly, I had two boys and never got to use the name. But I worked with a man whose granddaughter was named Kerensa. Her nickname would have been Kere (Cara).
原I love this name. The meaning is nice, and it's the name of a short-lived alter-ego of the heroine in my novel. I'd definitely name a daughter Kerensa, because it's unique but legit.

原Very pretty and unusual. I don't know why, but Kerensa makes me think of the sea, and the colour blue. It also reminds me of "cadenza", which is Italian for "cadence". Though I really don't like Kerry as a nickname for Kerensa. In my opinion, Rensa and Ren are much nicer.
