原My name is Lilia and it is pronounced both ways as the above comment states. In Spanish it is lee-lee-uh and in English most pronounce it li-lee-uh. And it is true my name is ofttimes mispronounced and misspelled. I have more nicknames than I wish for because people cant pronounce my name although I don't see the difficulty. Overall I think it's a beautiful name a perfect combination of everything a name needs and I absolutely love being named Lilia.

原It's pretty but I'd think carefully before giving this name to a child. Most people haven't heard of it but it sounds a lot like a few other popular names. So young Lilia will almost certainly get called Lydia, Olivia and Lily. This could get pretty tiresome for her, could give her a complex about her name, who knows!
