原I was looking for Malise and stumbled upon this name; www.namenerds.com confirms that Malise is indeed an Anglified spelling of Maoilios and also confirms the meaning. However, they also provide Miles as an English version, which makes no sense to me at all.
It would be interesting to know if the name "Malise" is ever used nowadays: it is so close in appearance and sound to "malice" that I doubt it.
