原This is my name... I was born in South Africa to Portuguese immigrants. At the time that I was born it had become a popular name, so many Portuguese girls of my generation, living in South Africa, were called Angelique. It was seen as a pretty common name but lovely too. I loved my name growing up because it sounded feminine and sweet (I was called Angie for short).
