原 I think Rosalind is very self important sounding and excessively out-dated, making it impossible to suit a youngster or adolescent. It makes me think about an old lady. In any case, I feel that with the right shortening or consolidated with another name, the perfect individual with a truly solid identity could upgrade this name and make it into something crisp and cutting edge. Also, obviously, who wouldn't need their little girl to be named after a lovely rose? I think this name has potential.

原 I think this is the prettiest version of the Rose names! (Rosalie, Rosemary etc.) Literary Shakespearean name, and I get the image of a strong and unusual classic. It can be seen as rather stodgy/stuffy, but I see it as very pretty and spunky yet feminine. Rosalind Franklin is a wonderful namesake too! This is one of my top contenders for a future daughter, or at least potentially a middle name.
