原There was a American horror film in 2007 inspired by the urban legends of some childless woman who was a ventriloquist. There's a poem that goes: Beware the stare of Mary Shaw, she has no children, only dolls. If you see her in your dreams, Be sure you never, ever scream. (Or she'll rip your tongue out at the seams).
原I've only heard this as a surname and I'm not exactly a fan of using surnames as first names, Madison, Addison and Tyler being prime examples of why I hate it. Can't say I like Shaw either. To me, it sounds genderless and irreparably surname-y.

If you see her in your dreams, Be sure you never, ever scream.

Shaw makes me think of Mary Shaw.
