原Although I am aware it is a historical name, I think it would have the risk of coming off as a made-up, elaborate form of Justin... as if the parents tacked the "-ian" on the end for it to sound more "heroic." As the other member mentioned, Justinian looks a little pretentious and inflated.

Justinian Nutt
Justinian Nutt was an English naval captain and world circumnavigator in the first half of the 18th century.
原I don't see anything wrong with the name; I quite like it. :) I think it's a great alternative to the ever so popular "Justin". A little bit annoying however that some consider "Justinian" as "pretentious" or even feminine sounding! Moreover, be aware how people may think it's a combination of "Justin" and "Ian"- uh, no... that's soo incorrect! >:(
原This would be an interesting choice for Orthodox Christian parents with all he did for Christianity during his reign, notably constructing the Hagia Sophia (though that's no longer a church).
