原In Igbo Mythology there are different names in which God is referred to -Chineke, Chi-okike, Chi-Ukwu etc. The Igbos believe in God and recognise his infinite mercy and his power in their daily affair. So, to that they call God, also, the "Nna-ji-Uwa" or Nna-kere-uwa" so this is where the name Ikenna originated from. Father's power does not echo the real/full meaning of the name rather God's Power.
