原Jerald Cuthbert, who preferred to be called J.C., was one of the oldest rabbit children in "The Seventh Brother". He was pretty stubborn and rude, but he was the bravest and strongest of the bunch, and he was very protective of his younger siblings if they were ever in danger.
原In spite of the above, I quite like the name Cuthbert. In the wrong context it sounds a little pretentious maybe, but the name itself has an ancient Germanic sturdiness and earthiness to it that I like.
原American writer William Faulkner was born William Cuthbert Falkner, but disliked his middle name because he thought it was a "sissy name", which might have something to do with the fact that during WWI, "Cuthbert" was a term for someone avoiding military service.
