原When I gave birth to my first baby (a son) in January last year, he died a few minutes after birth. I cried and ask God to bless me with another baby to call my own. I gave birth to a baby girl in February this year. I named her Eliana because God really answered my prayer.

原When I gave birth to my daughter she had a serious attack but with all the prayers and reliance on God she survived. Then I had to look up a name, nothing could be better than Eliana for it sounds modern with a worthy meaning from Hebrew origin. How awesome.
原I didn't like it at first, but now it's the name of my beautiful baby sister, born on Thanksgiving Day a year ago, and it fits very nicely. It has almost an elvish feel to it.
原I love this name. It's unusual and fits in with modern trends, but at the same time it's beautiful, flowing and ultra-feminine. I consider myself agnostic, but I still love many names with religious meanings. Eliana is also a great and more meaningful alternative to the currently popular Ella.
