原It's cute, but I find it a bit boring. I knew a lot of girls named Maja/Maya/Maia in high school, and to me it has started to feel as blank and stale as the likes of Emily and Alyssa. Other than this, it's a nice name.
原Such a pretty, sweet little name! Maja is also (widely) used in Hungary; at least for the last couple of years. It was #37 in 2009, up 15 spaces from 2008! :) I really like popular names. When I was little, I watched a program which had Maja, the Bee in it. :) Currently, I would like to name my little daughter Maja Panna. Those names are SO darling together! Hungarian names are so beautiful, if one fully knows how to pronounce them!
