原So my name's Hollie, and I really don't actually like it that much :( I would prefer a name like Skylar. I would rather the name Holly then Hollie because everyone spells it wrong, and it gets annoying. But I get over it.

原My wife's name is Hollie, and one reason we knew we were right for each other is that I unknowingly spelled it right (instead of Holly) the first time. Unfortunately MANY of my friends continue to spell it Holly, despite the numerous cards and emails she has sent. Frustrating!
I think it's a beautiful name. Has a nice ring to it, a holly bush is pretty, and the Christmas connection is nice - it's the happiest time of the year, after all. Her middle name is Robin, a winter bird in England I'm told, so her name is quite festive. And she very much fits it - She is my Hollie Robin. :)
原Hollie would be harder to grow up with, in my opinion. It looks less mature, to me, than Holly. Also, I think it looks a bit too much like the clothing store Hollister to me.
原My name is Hollie and I wouldn't change it even thought there are some better names to have. I prefer this to Holly because it is less common and doesn't remind you of the bush as much.
