原Alina Plugaru is a Romanian entrepreneur and former pornographic film actress, who has been called the Romanian "The Queen of Porn". She started acting in erotic videos in 2006, after having worked as a stripper and model.

原I have always hated my name; however, after realizing it's rare I fell in love with it. But recently I have noticed the name is picking up momentum and it's losing its value. I have met 6 people with the same name. 1 girl from my linguistics class, the other 3 were named after me, and the other 3 were from South Asia. 原This is SUCH a pretty name, and judging by the other comments, it has beautiful meanings in other languages. This name never caught on in Finland despite the popularity of the name Elina. I personally think Alina sounds nicer, and in Finnish, the first syllable is always stressed, so you can actually tell the difference, which you could hardly do in English. Whether you put the stress on the first or second syllable, it's a lovely name.
原I don't like "Al" as a nickname for a girl. And I don't fancy "Lina" either. My name is Leanne and I've gotten "lean" all my life. "Elaina" or "Elanya" are both prettier sounding and looking than "Alina".
