原My name is Coby, and I like my name. It's short for Cobyan. If I'm being honest I prefer the short version.. I'm 19 and from Ireland and no, the name has no Irish history as far as I know. Just seems like my parents wanted to be original.

Imagine meeting a cute little girl and asking her what her name is, and she says it's Coby. You would find that weird, wouldn't you? This name only sounds okay on tomboyish girls, if ''okay'' is defined as ''well, it's a butt-ugly, boyish name, but the girl herself is boyish and, well, not the most attractive girl out there''. The name would already sound awful on a 14-year-old girl, even if she looked masculine.
