But there is no one I know born after that period (besides myself) that has this name (unless it's a middle name).

As well, the Peta, the Pāli word for a Preta, or hungry ghost in Buddhism. Lastly Peta is the Egyptian word for triangle.
I particularly dislike the connotations of being related to the animals rights movement but other people seem to think 'It's beautiful." or "so different".
原Peta Jaye Weber, née Reeder-Gibb, is the only daughter of Andrew Roy "Andy" Gibb (1958-1988) and his wife Kim Reeder (they were married only a short while). Andy is the younger brother of award-winning and massively-successful singing group the Bee Gees (Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb; Andy was nearly a member himself) and late-1970s-1980s music star in his own right.

原As someone who finds the ads of PETA distasteful and misogynous, I wouldn't use this name. Besides, if the name is pronounced as ''PEE-ta'' instead of ''PE-ta'', it sounds like certain people's pronunciation of Peter.
原This name reminds me of the anti-animal cruelty organization PETA, especially when it's capitalized on this site, haha. I wouldn't use this name, since most people would also associate it with PETA, whom I personally am not a big fan of. I'm pretty sure if PETA didn't exist (or just went by a different name/abbreviation), my view on this name may be different.
