原My Catholic Irish parents named me Brigid in 1958, I loved my name, even though I was teased in grade school, frigid Brigid, etc, I loved the uniqueness. It wasn't until 2001 that I meet another Brigid. I read in the comments that the name was given to 84 babies in 2012, that's great, it is a name to be very proud of.
