原It is a derivative of the Greek name Pantaleon, which roughly translates as "all lion". My Gr-Gr-Grandfather's name was Pantaleone Rugito - and his surname may have originally been Ruggito, which is Italian for "roar", so his birth name literally means "all lion roar". He must have had quite a cry as a baby.
"A" as in "Father" (for both). "E" is quite close to the English greeting "Hey" (granted that the "H" is removed). "O" as usual, "Oh." And once again "E," or otherwise "Eyh." [noted -ed]

我不敢相信这是很常见的。这可能是太接近词“pantaloni”,裤子。
原I can't believe this is very common. It's probably too close to the word "pantaloni", trousers.

译 它是希腊名字Pantaleon的衍生物,大致翻译为“所有狮子”。我的祖父的名字是Pantaleone Rugito - 他的姓可能最初是Ruggito,意思是“吼叫”,所以他的出生名字字面意思是“所有的狮子咆哮”。他一定有一个哭泣作为一个婴儿。
