原Alivia is a beautiful name and people will always have negative opinions. It's too popular, it's not spelled right, it's trashy etc. It's always something. It's what you think of the name, that's what matters.
原My name is Alivia. People do tend to spell it wrong and mispronounce it when they first see it, but I also receive a lot of compliments on it. It's also becoming more popular as I have met other people with this name, specifically those who are younger than me. There are now 3 just in my school district including me. My parents are not stupid or incapable of spelling. It also gives you the option to go by Ali, Liv, Livi, or another nickname. It also prevents people making cruel Oliver or Oli jokes, which is the main reason my parents chose the name; they thought my grandparents would refer to me as Oli. At the end of the day I really like my name, and as long as having things customized when you want your name on something isn't a problem, it's a beautiful name (:
